A hand-knotted room-sized Persian-inspired wool area rug. It features sweeping arabesques of vine work and floral elements with scrolled foliate motifs in a palette of warm beige, brick, rust, pale ochre, peach and shades of green overall. It has matching guard borders with a small blooming flora element and a primary border of stylized palmettes and flower blossoms in the field colors. It has a small woven kilim skirt and hand-tied cotton fringe to each end. Unmarked.
