French Regency Four Seat Four Seat Back Seteé

Item Details

An antique French Regency four seat seteé with the four backs featuring lovely hand decorated floral motifs to the top rails over round cartouches depicting coupled figures which are surrounded by caned inset panels with open fretwork below. The seat has been modified with a caned covered board and has a pink and ivory striped cushion with button tufting. The seteé has a black painted finish with gold gilt trim and brass casters to the feet. Circa 1870.
