Highly Carved Chinese Desk

A highly carved Chinese desk. This piece features an allover carved cloud motif, with the hutch portion having dragon imagery on each of two doors, and a fire-breathing dragon against a mountain at the crest. The hutch also features file slots and a small drawer, with the desk having a column of three drawers on the right, and three side by side drawers under the writing surface.

Condition

Chips and cracks in wood. Damage at door hinge. Paint transfer. Drawer column supporting the right side is unstable.
