Vintage Stromberg-Carlson Stereo Console

A vintage Hepplewhite style stereo console by Stromberg-Carlson, in The Autograph line, circa late 1940s. This console features a burled walnut veneered front with brass hardware, contoured piping, four splayed legs and a front scalloped apron. The polished top has a tiered routed edge and incised lines. The console features a section with a hinged top opening to an empty storage space which once housed a turn table. The two left side compartments open to reveal a remaining plaque for a ‘Stromberg-Carlson’ radio and a bottom speaker.

Condition
-Exterior of cabinet has been restored and is in good condition. Upper left handle is broken (broken part included). Interior has been removed, but is present. Some losses to finish on interior. Fabric over speaker is discolored. Interior may require cleaning.
