Vintage American Walking Liberty Silver Coin Wrist Watch

Item Details

Vintage American Walking Liberty silver coin wrist watch features an authentic 1936 Walking Liberty half-dollar designed by American sculptor A.A. Weinman as the dial face in a high shine coating of gold and silver. The coin is laser cut down the middle of the depth so the natural coin reverse appears on the back of the watch casing. The two halves cradle the state-of-the-art Japanese quartz movement inside. The face has hour, minute, and second hands. Casing is a bright gold tone with ribbed sides and dotted rim. Set in a genuine leather brown band.

The Walking Liberty was minted between 1916 and 1947, contains more than 12 grams of 0.900 fine silver, 37mm. It depicts a graceful Lady Liberty with flowing robes facing left, striding towards the dawn of a new day. The reverse is the Standing Eagle.
