A limited edition bronze sculpture titled Perfume by Erté (Russia/France, 1892 -1990). This stunning sculpture depicts a reclining nude with long flowing hair holding a flower in her hands. Her lower body is concealed by a tasseled gown with a leaf motif. A serpent is wrapped around her waist. It bears the artist’s signature incised to the side of the base and is numbered 180/300. It was produced by Fine Art Acquisitions in 1984. The oval base features a protective felt pad. A certificate of authenticity issued by Merrill Chase Galleries is included with this work.
