A Howard Miller Aristocrat triple-chime Grandfather clock in cherry, model no. 160-154. This handsome floor clock features a broken-arch pediment with planton finial to center, vertical reeding, recessed paneling and a stepped platform base. The longcase has see-through glass sides and key-lock front door access to a moon phase dial situated above the clock dial having raised brass numerals reading ‘Western Germany’ below the 6 marker, openwork hands and cast corners. The chiming settings are placed to the right of the 3 marker currently set on silent with three musical chiming options. Brass chains, cylinders and pendulum are housed below. A manufacturer’s paper label with directions for the weight-driven movement is affixed to the reverse side.
