Late 1950s Wiedemann Electrified Beer Sign

A 1950s Wiedemann electrified beer sign. This sign has the famous Wiedemann beer logo at the top and was designed to be a ‘motion’ light. With the colors of yellow, green, blue, and gold on its plastic face covering, this beer sign reads ‘Fresh From The Barrel Taste’ in script lettering. The bottom also reads Fine Beer America’s Only Registered Beer.’ The small print states ‘The Geo. Wiedemann Brewing Co., Newport Ky.’ This classic beer collectible is constructed of metal with plastic face covering. Please note, this sign was tested and does not light up. There is a wire chain on the backside for mounting purposes.
Condition
- to fair – edge and surface wear. Original cord present. The metal backing exhibits some rusting and oxidation. Scratches and discoloration. Plugged in and does not light up.
