A set of Civil War prints. Included is a wood engraving from the January 18, 1862, edition of Harper’s Weekly titled The Vessels of General Burnside’s Expedition at Annapolis by Angelo Weser, presented under glass, beneath double creme and blue mats in a wood frame, wired to the verso for hanging. The second print is a portrait of Civil War Rear Admiral David D. Porter, framed together with a letter written by Admiral Porter. The letter and portrait are presented under glass, beneath a blue mate in a gold gilt frame, wired to the verso for hanging.

Condition

- some moisture damage to mat in Harpers print.
