Pair of J.E. Caldwell & Company Sterling Candlesticks
Item Details
A pair of antique J.E. Caldwell & Company of Philadelphia sterling candlesticks. These weighted columnar candlesticks feature removable bobeche, fluted shafts, and tiered bases. They are stamped with the maker’s marks to the base and read, “Made in England for J.E. Caldwell & Co. Phila”. They were manufactured for sale in the Philadelphia jewelry store of James Emmot Caldwell (American, 1813 -1881).
Condition
– overall tarnish; wear to the felt bottoms.
