An antique hand-cranked portable sewing machine with case. This circa 1870 hand crank sewing machine has mother-of-pearl inlay throughout including cherubs and a dove in the center. A stitch guide panel is attached, and the base is made of oak. The box is oak with hardwood inlay. German ‘Simplex’ model label has been worn off.
