Erté Limited Edition Bronze Sculpture "Monaco"

A limited edition bronze sculpture titled Monaco by Romain de Tirtoff (Russia/France, 1892 – 1990). Tirtoff was best known by his pseudonym Erté from the French pronunciation of his initials. This Art Deco work depicts an elegant woman dressed in a low cut black gown with a long black and gold wrap draped over her outstretched arms. It features a hand-painted patina with embellishments to the garments. The artist’s signature is incised to the rear of the round stepped base. It is imprinted “1990 Chalk & Vermillion and Savenarts” and numbered 188/375.
