Item Details

An antique circa late 19th century Louis Vuitton steamer trunk. This square Louis Vuitton trunk is covered in the classic Louis Vuitton checkered fabric with metal staves, trim and hardware. A large initial ‘B’ is emblazoned on the front. The interior is fitted with straps on the lid and offers a lift-out wooden box. The lining is accented with a red and beige striped pattern and bears the Louis Vuitton name and serial number, 152171.

Condition

-shows a lot of wear; the exterior is very worn; there are cracks and repairs to the top; stained on inside; the strapping is broken in places; the bottom is split inside and out
