Halftone Reproduction of E.T. Hurley Etching "Skyline of Cincinnati in the 1860's"

A halftone on paper reproduction of an original etching by well-listed Cincinnati, Ohio printmaker and Rookwood pottery artist Edward Timothy (E.T.) Hurley (1869-1950), titled Skyline of Cincinnati in the 1860’s. The print depicts the buildings of Cincinnati as viewed from the Kentucky side of the Ohio River, the famed John A. Roebling Suspension Bridge cutting across the foreground. The print’s title is printed to its lower edge and it is signed in-plate to the lower left. It is matted in white and presented behind glass in a wooden frame with brown finish and a hanging wire.
Condition
- to fair. Print and matting are quite yellowed with age. Frame has significant loss of finish across.
