Impressive Chinese Dragon Court Robe Gifted to Dr. Henry Heimlich

A blue ground, 19th-century Qing dynasty (1644-1911) Chinese court robe given to Dr. Henry Heimlich in 1944-1945 while stationed in inner Mongolia, China. With five-clawed dragon grasping at flaming pearl designs to the chest and striped lishu motif decorates the lower hem and sleeves below undulating wave patterns with padded armbands.

Condition

Some fraying to sleeves and collar area.
