An oil painting on canvas of a hilly landscape created in 1935 by artist John T Chabot (born 1868). This work features rolling grassy hills populated with clusters of bushy trees and mountains silhouetted against a blue sky. With painterly brushstrokes and dabs of color, the artist captures a hazy depiction of the vast hillsides. The work is signed and dated in brown to the lower left. It is presented in a gold-tone wood frame.

- craquelure throughout painting; some creases in canvas; wear to frame including scratches stains, and discoloration; stains to the back of canvas.
