1945 Caswell-Runyan Cedar Hope Chest

Item Details

A 1945 Caswell-Runyan cedar hope chest. The chest is constructed with a rectangular lid with waterfall front edge. The front face of the piece is decorated with bookmatched veneer and marquetry inlay. The chest is further decorated with a scroll cut scalloped apron and molded block feet. The interior of the piece is crafted with unfinished cedar lining, and displays the original company paperwork affixed to lid. Key is attached to front panel of interior. Catalog number: 3220.
