Item Details

A Maddox Tables of Jamestown, New York, vintage fall-front secretary bookcase. Made of mahogany, this piece features a broken-arch pediment above two glass-paneled doors before three shelves. Below this storage area is a fall-front secretary desk with interior storage compartments followed by four serpentine-front, machine-dovetailed drawers for additional storage. The brass-toned hardware includes bail handles with batwing backplates. The secretary rises on a molded base with ball-and-claw feet. The back retains a pair of labels, including one for ‘Maddox Colonial Reproductions’.
