Vintage Georges Braque Offset Lithograph Poster "Three Birds"
Item Details
A vintage 1956 offset lithograph poster featuring one of the most famous images by very well-listed French artist Georges Braque (1882-1963), the man who developed Cubism alongside Picasso. The print is titled Three Birds. Braque was well-known for the abstracted imagery of birds he created mid-century; this image is a fine example of that body of work, and depicts three pink birds set against an abstracted black, white, and sage background. The poster was published by Éditions des Nouvelles Images. The print is presented behind glass in a thin black metal frame with a hanging wire.
