A large offset lithographic reproduction after the original painting by well-listed Serbian-Israeli Post-Impressionist artist Itzchak Tarkay (1935-2012), titled Suzanne. The image is created in Tarkay’s signature style, building a composition with large areas of flat, bold colors. Depicted is a lone woman sitting in a chair, her gaze distant and pensive, a flamboyant flower arrangement resting on a table behind her. The room is painted in bright tones of yellow, purple, red, and orange. Artist signature is printed in plate to the lower left. The print is mounted behind red and olive green double mat, under non-glare glass in a black composite frame with coving. A wire is attached to the verso.
Condition
- finish of frame is lightly worn with minor chips and scratches. Print has a vague crease in dark blue skirt area.
