A hand knotted antique Persian Hamadan accent rug. This rug features a large central floral medallion in green, light blue and pink on a bright red field. There are floral design elements filling the field. The central design is framed by small grey spandrels and has a complex border with a central band with a white background flanked by matching bands in taupe. There is a kilim border on one end and a short plain fringe on the other. The selvage is wrapped with black yarn.
