An “Authorized Edition” offset lithograph reproduction of an original photograph by famed American landscape photographer Ansel Adams (1902–1984), titled Oak Tree, Snowstorm, Yosemite National Park, California, 1948. The photograph was taken in 1948, originally developed in 1996, and this print was created in 1997. It depicts a massive oak tree coated in a thick layer of soft, white snow. This print has the artist’s name printed in gray letters to its lower margin, and the artist’s embossed “Authorized Edition” blindstamp to its base; only copies of the images originally published by Little, Brown and Company are authorized as part of this official series of reproductions. It is presented behind glass in a wooden frame with black finish and a hanging wire.
