A circa 1940s Bluebird red cedar chest. This chest features a hinged top and pinwheel design along the front made with wood veneers. Lined with red cedar, the interior of the chest features a label reading ‘Bluebird Cedar Chest / Dillingham Mfg. Co. / Sheboygan, Wis.’

Condition

- signs of wear and chipping to the veneer; scratches and discoloration to the wood present; at one point, this chest had a tray along the interior that is now missing; the interior metal pieces that prevents the lid from opening all the way are damaged.
