Karastan "Medallion Serapi" Worsted Wool Area Rug

Item Details

A machine woven Karastan Medallion Searpi worsted wool area rug. It has a large blue center star pendant medallion with dark variegated pale madder red field with green, red, blue and yellow palmettes and other floral motifs, having pink and light blue spandrels. The field is surrounded by a deep blue crenellated border, then by carnation guard borders on either side of a wide, pink turtle main border. It is marked with a tag to one corner indicating it is 100% wool, woven in the U.S.A. by the Karastan company.
