A framed signed limited edition offset lithograph after an original watercolor, Summer Coolers, by Ray Day (American, b.1939). The print is from The Old Road Series and is plate XV. The series features views familiar to anyone who has traveled the small roads found in rural areas. This image depicts an actual country store in Huron, Indiana, but is reminiscent of many more like it to be found on a meandering road on a summer’s day. The print is signed in the plate and in pencil with an inscription ‘Eustacia M. Day 7-6-08’ and is numbered 946/1000. It is matted in green and is framed in a maple color wooden frame. There is an accompanying document describing the artist and the subject as well as the printing process.
