A 1966 Mattel miniature car carrying case containing thirty assorted die-cast vehicles. This red and white vinyl carrying case has two partitioned trays which fit into a rectangular slipcase with a plastic carrying handle; the front features an offset lithograph illustration of toy cars with the text ‘Miniature Cars Carrying Case; Mattel, Inc. Toymakers; © 1966.’ The case is filled with thirty assorted die-cast vehicles, including a Kent Fire Brigade fire truck, an Esso tow truck and a Rentaset TV Repair Van, from makers including Lesney.
