Handwoven Karastan "Medallion Serapi" Area Rug
Item Details
A handwoven Karastan wool pile area rug in the ‘Medallion Serapi’ pattern, design number: 736. The rug features a center medallion in a palette of red, cobalt, burgundy, kelly green, cream, sky blue, and orange. The coral field has a series of palmette designs in shades of red, sky blue, cobalt, and kelly green. The main border features a turtle pattern in tones of ruby, canary yellow, sky blue, kelly green, and burnt orange. There is sewn on fringe at either end. Rug is tagged to the reverse.
