Stephen Herrero Limited Edition “Show of Valor”

A Stephen Herrero limited edition “Show of Valor” sculpture. This sculpture was created with a cold cast process which mixes porcelain, alabaster powders and resin to give the sculpture the appearance of metal. Featured is a black horse with brown eyes, a tan face mark and the front portion of a saddle with burgundy and blue striped braided borders. Also, featured are gray and black feathers in the horse’s hair and on the side of the saddle, two of which move freely. The horse is presented on a raised light brown pedestal which resembles a stone slab, with a plaque which reads ‘Show of Valor by Stephen Herrero 473/3,5000’, and the pedestal rests on a dark brown square base. The back of the sculpture resembles a cracked rock, with the horse’s hair with feathers attached flowing over. Also, visibale on the back of the sculpture is the artist’s mark, including signature, the year ‘2007’, and a seal impressed which says ‘MCSI 2008 Integrity, Quality, Imagination’.
