Antique Louis XV Style Chest of Drawers

Item Details

An antique Louis XV style chest of drawers. Comprised of fruitwood and walnut veneers, the serpentine body consists of inlaid marquetry and parquetry design, decorated with carved wooden appliques. The inlaid parquetry creates a diamond design across the front below the oval marquetry, acanthus scroll and leaf design, framed in faux beaded edging. The two drawers open up to organized dividers. The table stands on curved, scroll design legs and feet. It is finished in a various colored stains and includes brass hardware.
