A hand painted plaster chess set. These pieces, painted in vibrant blue and mustard gold, feature mustached and helmeted pawns, long-faced and double-chinned bishops, knights with heralic crenelated barding, kings with white ruff collars and tall segmented crowns, and queens with exaggerated eyelashes, a cream gorget, and a crossed coronet. Please note, no chess board is included.

- some pieces are chipped.
