A set of four offset lithographs after drawings by Bill Bates.
These depict famous comedic entertainers of early cinema that includes Buster Keaton, Charlie Chaplin, W.C. Fields, and Laurel and Hardy. Each print is signed in plate ‘Bates’. These works are presented under glass in black painted wooden frames, wired for hanging.
Condition
- frames are scratched, backing papers are punctured.

- measurement of the frame for Charlie Chaplin with inside frame measurement of 10.5" W x 13.75" H; Laurel and Hardy frame measures 14.5" W x 11.5" H with an interior measurement of 13.5" W x 10.75" H.
