A Chinese-inspired round black lacquered room divider. This piece has a round shaped with four hinged wooden panels. The panels each feature part of the overall scene depicting a courtyard with a pavilion in the center and eight elegantly women in white mother of pearl inlaid dressed. The panels at either end have painted guardian lions on the feet. The backside features a depiction of yellow painted bamboo reeds and leaves.
