A burled wood secretary. A 20th century Italian wood secretary desk with a poplar wood and burled maple veneer finish. The hutch on the secretary has a curved top with outset corners, glass doors with locks, two small pull out shelves and two removable shelves. The hutch sits on a wood base with a pull down writing desk that rest on pull out supports and the desk has five small drawers. The desk is on a five drawer base with swan style pulls a concave style base and bracket style feet. The secretary is marked ‘Made in Italy’.
