Italian Majolica Rabbit Tureen and Vessels
Item Details
A set of Italian Majolica pottery. Featured is a green and white figural lidded tureen in the shape of a white rabbit resting on a head of cauliflower. The tureen is marked ‘Made in Italy’ to the underside and includes a white ladle. Also featured are two smaller majolica lidded vessels. Each is molded into the shape of an overflowing fruit basket. The pieces are painted with a variety of colors, and each is marked ‘Italy’ to the bottom.
