Item Details
A Shen Guanglong sword and framed photograph of a Shaolin monk. This selection features a sword made of high carbon steel with a dragon and Chinese symbols etched into the blade, a mirrored design in relief on the guard, and a lathe turned wooden handle with red tassels. The sword is a stylized replica of the weapon used by Jet Li in the movie Hero and the scabbard is wood with a dragon motif to the ferrule and mouthpiece, with a black leather strap wrapped around the body. The sword and scabbard are manufactured by Shen Guanglong and come with a storage box that has a red dragon design throughout. Also included is an offset lithograph of a black and white photo of Moine á Shaolin after Isabel Muñoz, that depicts a Shaolin monk jumping in the air in fighting cadence. The photo is presented behind mat and glass in a black frame with wire to the back for hanging.
Condition
- seams of the sheath are slightly split, some minor cosmetic rust on the tip of the sword blade, some scratching to glass covering the lithograph.
