A vibrant and colorful watercolor and gouache painting by Indiana artist Jean Vietor (born 1933). Branches laden with bright red berries are captured in this vibrant and colorful gouache and watercolor painting. Signed by the artist in pencil to the lower center, the painting is presented in a brown and tan double mat with wooden frame. Hanging hardware is present to the verso of the frame. From Indianapolis, Vietor studied at Lindenwood College, Indiana University Bloomington, and George Payton Commercial Art Studio. A watercolor painter and a printmaker, Vietor is known for her paintings of birds and wildlife and is a member of the Hoosier Salon, Indianapolis Art Center, and the Indiana Artist Club.
