Two volumes containing eleven complete books by Charles Dana Gibson (American 1867-1944). Gibson was an American illustrator best known for the creation of ‘The Gibson Girl,’ an iconic representation of independent women at the turn of the 20th century. The books are hardcover bound, with red cloth and gilt lettering. The books were published in black and white by Life Publishing in 1907.
