An original oil on panel painting by the Italian listed artist Napoleon Coccetti (born 1880). This piece depicts a European man in 18th-century attire inspecting a glass of wine he just poured from a keg. The signature is present in the bottom right corner of the piece. The panel is held in a composite wooden frame that is painted cream in tone. A tag for the company John Mathieson & Co. is present on the back of the frame above the rope hanger.
