Pilliod Art Box Small Cedar Chest

Item Details

A cedar art box made by Pilliod of Swanton, Ohio, a company founded in 1898. This chest features metal bands to lid and front, with exposed dovetail detail. The sides have wooden handles and the base offers scrolled feet. Retains manufacturer’s adhesive label to underside.

- to fair; some age cracks in wood; tarnish to metal; some scuffs and scratches to wood; parts of front latch missing.
