Item Details

An antique steeple mantel clock by New Haven Clock Co. The mahogany-veneered case features a pointed crest flanked by a pair of turned, spire finials. The Roman numeral dial is behind a conforming, glazed door with a reverse-painted, beehive tablet. The interior is labeled ‘New Haven Clock Co. / Eight Day and 30 Hour / New Haven, Conn.’ The winding key is included.

Condition

- not in working condition; one finial broken; a tiny veneer chip; dial and possibly tablet with paint touch-ups; some rust to pendulum.
