Harold Kraus Oil on Board "Red Poppy, Etc"

An original oil on board by well-listed American artist, Harold Kraus, titled Red Poppy, Etc. This piece features a colorful still life, depicting an orange vase with red, pink, white, purple and green flowers, in impressionistic style. The piece is signed by the artist at the bottom right, dated ’97, and is housed in a molded and distressed brass tone frame. The verso of the painting displays the title, as well as #1931 and the artist’s name and place of residence.

Kraus is a painter and florist currently living in Nashville, Tennessee and has had his work displayed in multiple galleries. His pieces are collected by many across the nation, to include: George and Barbara Bush, Al Gore, Ross Perot, the estate of Julia Child, Vanderbilt University and many more.
