A framed offset lithograph historical map of Fairfax County with landmarks. There are four portraits along the top border: Thomas Sixth Lord Fairfax, Georg Washington, Martha Washington, and George Mason. Along the side borders are historical landmarks including Dranesville Tavern, Fairfax County Courthouse, St. Mary’s Church, Mount Vernon, and more. The map at the center depicts the county as it was in 1742 with the historic town division. Framed and matted under glass with hanging wire to back.
Condition
Print may be faded, reverse of frame has some mold and dust.
