A collection of six Modern Library Classics. The six books, published by Modern Library, all display the torchbearer emblem, an emblem redesigned many times since 1925. Included are such classics as Don Quixote, The Old Wives’ Tale, The Plays Of Oscar Wilde, Sister Carrie, The Possessed, and Madame Bovary. The copyright dates range from 1900 to 1936. Each is bound in cloth covered boards of various hues and are lettered in gilt. The endpapers feature the torchbearer emblem.
