Vintage Marx Tin Lithograph Wind-Up Toy Cat

A vintage Marx tin litho wind-up toy. The toy cat has black rubber ears with blue eyes and appears to chase a rolling ball between its two front paws. The wind-up mechanism is on the side and comes with winding key. It is marked ‘Marx Toys Made in United States of America New York, N.Y.’ to one side and ‘Pat. No. 2,182,642’ to the other.

Condition

good to fair – The ball has been replaced with a wooden bead, There is rust to the key. Toy moves when wound, but tail does not not flip back and forth.
