Circa 1750 French "Dragoon" Flintlock Pistol

Item Details

A circa 1750 French Dragoon flintlock pistol. This pistol has a carved walnut stock with brass accents and a steel, circular barrel. The original flint are leather are still set within the trigger vise, and the butt of the pistol is set with brass. The Dragoon pistol was standard issue for French military between 1733 and 1760.

Condition

- gaps in the wood and metal; scratches and tarnish present; consistent with age.
