Antique Enterprise Fruit Press and Sausage Stuffer
Item Details
An antique Enterprise fruit press and sausage stuffer. Organized in 1866, the Philadelphia-based Enterprise Manufacturing Company produced meat grinders, presses, and sausage stuffers until the mid 1900s when the company was purchased by Chop-Rite Manufacturing. This press predates the name change. This pieces has many uses including a fruit press, lard press, and sausage stuffer. The press is made of cast iron with a crank handle.
Condition
- some rust consistent with age and use
- crank handle and gears move smoothly, but full functionality has not been tested
