A vintage ten-drawer lingerie chest by Davis Cabinet Company. The pine case features a rectangular top with molded edges above two rows of two aligned drawers over a stack of six machine-dovetailed drawers. The scratchbeaded fronts are fitted with engraved brass pulls and flanked by canted, carved stiles. One drawer interior retains a tag for ‘Davis / Cabinet Company / Craftsman of Fine Solid Wood Furniture / Nashville, Tenn.’ and the chest rises on a bracket base.
