A Royal Canadian Mounted Police Corporal uniform with an offset lithograph after a Mountie riding a horse.The uniform’s red tunic is complete with buttons, badges and corporal rank chevrons. A brown Stetson hat and a brown leather belt with a cross strap and holster are included. The print depicts a Mountie crossing a rough stream, holding with his right hand the bridle reins of a panicked white packhorse, with a grizzly in pursuit. The Mountie’s own horse is rearing up and the officer’s hat is flying off, but he looks steady and in control, pulling back on the reins with his other hand. The image is housed in a wood frame, matted, and wired ready to hang. The work is unmarked.
