Late 1800s E. P. Carpenter & Company Victorian Style Oak Pump Organ
Item Details
A Victorian style pump organ with a solid oak cabinet, crafted by the E.P. Carpenter & Company of Brattleboro, Vermont, circa the late 1800s. This beautiful organ features a music stand along the top with acorn finials on either side and a slanted door to the front directly below that slides back into the organ to reveal the keyboard and various stop knobs. The bottom half of the cabinet features two paddles that fold out from underneath the keyboard for controlling with your knees, along with two foot pedals at the very bottom. This piece also includes a rack on either side with a hand turned pole – one has fallen off but is included so it can be reattached. Please note, the dolly shown in some images is not included.
- Please note, this is an item that may be especially difficult to move and/or transport. Unless shipping arrangements are available and made by the winning bidder, that individual is responsible for, and advised to bring, appropriate assistance, vehicle, and any necessary tools to pickup.
