Two Sterling Brooches by Mik Stousland

A selection of two sterling silver openwork brooches by Mik Stousland (d. 2002). Stousland is a former a Miami University Department of Architecture chairman, who started designing silver jewelry in the 1960s. Both brooches feature Stousland’s whimsical openwork design, and are secured with a safety clasp and pin. One is marked MIK, and the other is marked sterling and Mik Stousland’s hallmark. Total approximate weight is 0.45 ozt.
